The experts decided to remove the most popular myths associated with bread.
1. Black bread is healthier than white. The researchers compared both species and concluded that some varieties of black bread may contain too much sugar, which is not the best way to affect human health.
2. The cause of gases. Scientists have not identified any active components that can induce increased formation of gases or bloating. Another thing if the composition will include enzymes. Like chemical additives to the body, they are not useful.
3. Weight gain. There are not so many calories in bread that can cause the occurrence of excess weight.
4. Damage to gluten and yeast. Gluten is a protein of vegetable origin, so it is only dangerous for people with intolerance. Yeast is accused of negative effects on the microflora. But after heat treatment, they cannot pose any threat.
